Hey thought I'ld share this link, took me a little bit to find it.

The hard part in using a search engine to find some of this stuff is knowing the right terminology.
I tried Widget Region, Widget Area, more than one widget region, etc.
I supppose there could be some themes out there set up with more than one widget zone.

Can't wait to use multiple Widget Zones in my own BE blog too!

alternate layouts in the same blog, is the next thing on my wishlist of BE know-how, and actually pulling only a certain category from the blog, like expressionEngine tags would be the bomb also.
