Hi there,

at the moment I run BlogEngine.NET 1.4.5 compiled from source. In the last weeks, I have made a few improvements and customization for my blog, but now I start thinking about what will be when 1.5 is released.

I simply can not copy the 1.5 source over the 1.4.5 one, since all my changes would be gone then, but I do certainly not want to stay at 1.4.5 forever ;-).

How would you solve this issue?

Have a nice day,

Golo

I use WinMerge. Every release I just compare the two directories and merge the changes that I did not make. It is not as bad as it seems.

I have the same problem... Is WinMerge free?  What about new files, does it flag up new files that are not in the older version?
