Ok I have changed all the emoticons in the blog.
There is probably an easier way to do this but I couldn't find where to edit the script to change the file name and the hover.
So I backed-up the originals and then took copies of mine and renamed them in the order of the originals. Yeah, I cheated.
This works to what I want it to do but still have three problems;

1.) The hover still shows the original file name, would like to change that.

2.) The 'Insert Emoticon' pop-up squishes the file. Would like to know where to change the display parameters.

3.) I would also like to change the name - Title of the same Insert Emoticon pop-up. Infact the pop-up window labels - displays insert emoticon twice.

Can anyone point me in the right direction with this please?
Thank you.

Ok; ..\editors\tiny_mce\plugins\emotions\langs\en

Descriptions & hovers all set.
Still need to edit the parameters for the emotion pop-up. Default holds 4x4 images. New images (emotions) are 127x20. And so they are squished. Looking to change that to allow for 2x5 display if possible.

HA! :d/

..\editors\tiny_mce\plugins\emotions\
emotions.htm & editor_plugin.js (edits).

All that done on only 1 coffee, being stubborn pays off again. Getting jazzed about this blog software. Using TextPad for the edits, good stuff!

Problem with Firefox

Ok I thought I had it all straightend out, down to one issue with changing the emotions.
In IE the tinyMCE editor properly shows the new emotions.gif.
It is a 20 x 20 gif.
In firefox I get the old smiley gif - but the properties point to the spacer gif, which is only 1px by 1px.
Properties in IE properly point to the (new) emotions.gif file.
yes I cleared the cache, tried IE & Firefox on a Windows 7 virtual box even - Same problem firefox not showing the correct gif.
If I paste the direct link (./blog/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/emotions.gif) into Firefox it will display the image. But not in the editor (add_entry / pages).
This one is driving me up the wall.
Anyone that has an idea as to whats going on please respond, thank you.
